An all-time favorite and mainstay, this Sumatra is eruptive with flavor. Grown in volcanic soils in the northern province of Aceh, this coffee is collected by local family farmer Irham Janus. He and his family process their coffee at their own mill, using a wet process called Giling Basah, giving this coffee its heavy body and low acidity. This coffee is smooth and draws from its earthy origins with its smokey flavor combined with the subtle notes of prune and plum.
