Village Roaster ~ About Us

Our mission is to provide a high quality product for a fair and reasonable price through good customer service.

The Village Roaster was opened in March, 1979. At that time, it was the only store roasting specialty coffee in the Denver/Colorado area. The main product sold is freshly roasted whole bean coffee. A takeout beverage bar was added in 1990, which has quickly grown in popularity as coffee has become a more "social" activity. Other products offered include: loose and packaged teas, bulk spices, coffee and tea accessories, candy and many gift items.

In June, 2000 a second location was opened in the Lakewood City Commons shopping center. The site is more of a cafe, serving fine pastries, specialty drinks and Afternoon Tea by reservation. Live music is featured on Friday evenings. The Village Roaster also operates a Coffee Cart in the Belmar Library, in Lakewood.
